DECADE, SO GET USED TO THOSE CHANGES. THE IOWA STATE FAIR IS NOW LESS THAN 50 DAYS AWAY, AND THE ORGANIZERS SAY THEY JUST ANNOUNCED THE CHARACTERS WHO ARE GOING TO JOIN THE ICONIC BUTTER COW IN THE AG BUILDINGS COOLERS. SCULPTOR SARAH PRATT AND TWO APPRENTICES WILL SCULPT SEVERAL CHARACTERS FROM THE TOY STORY FRANCHISE THIS SUMMER. IT WILL KIND OF BE LIKE ANDY’S ROOM IN THERE. The Iowa State Fair announced this year's companion pieces to the famous butter cow sculpture. Butter sculptor Sarah Pratt and two apprentices will sculpt characters from the beloved animated movie franchise "Toy Story." This year marks 30 years since the release of the original "Toy Story" film."In the likeness of Andy's room, you will recognize a few characters celebrating 30 years of Toy Story, plus, if you look closely, you might find a few hidden Fair gems," a news release from the fair reads.The fair has included companion sculptures to the butter cow since 1996, ranging from sculptures of Elvis Presley to Caitlin Clark.This year's fair runs from Aug. 7-17.
