Authorities have released the identity of a woman who was found dead in a building that was destroyed by a fire. According to the Monroe County Sheriff's Office, Kelly Rea Cummings, 61, of Albia, was found dead in an apartment that was burned during a large fire on July 14. The fire broke out at the R.O. Cramer building along the Albia town square and led to the building being evacuated.Human remains were found the next day.The Monroe County Sheriff's Office says the initial autopsy indicates Cummings died of natural causes prior to the fire.
