Marshalltown motorists will need to ease up on the gas pedal soon.On Monday, the Marshalltown Police Department announced the purchase of a new mobile speed unit and two stationary units. The stationary units will be located on Lincoln Way, while the other will be on Governor Road. The MPD said the mobile unit will be placed in school zones and other high-complaint areas, with the unit's new location being posted on social media each week.Marshalltown initially activated speed cameras last May.
