Rossen Reports: Use these tricks if your flight gets delayed or canceled
Hey, welcome to Rawson in 60. The predictions are in, this will be one of the most chaotic travel seasons yet you're going to see disruptions as airlines scrambled to meet demand while still fighting challenges like the pilot shortage, it's big. So what can you do to make sure you have an easier travel experience? I'm gonna tell you, I got some tips. All I need is 60 seconds or less. Let's start the clock. The first big tip book early morning flights. I love this tip and experts say this ups your chances of getting on *** later flight if yours gets the later canceled, but they're also less likely to be canceled in the first place because the airplanes are already sitting there at the airport. Most of them flew in the night before and there hasn't been enough chaos in the day yet where your pilots and your flight attendants are being switched to other flights. Morning flights next. If you're booking *** connecting flight, try to book at least two hours in between those flights. I know you want to keep your travel time down, but that really helps because flights are getting delayed *** lot. Give yourself some wiggle room and finally with flights being delayed and canceled all around, you kind of sneak over to *** help desk in the concourse or any gate agent, just kind of mosey up quickly that way, if something happens to your flight, you can hop right in line and be the first to get yourself on *** new flight. You won't be the most popular you're gonna get where you need to go. That's all for today back to you.
