Abigail Kurten is a reporter for ����vlog 8 News from St. Louis, Missouri.
 Prior to joining ����vlog’s newsroom in September 2025, she graduated from the University of Iowa with a degree in Journalism and Mass Communications. There, she served as an anchor, reporter, and digital liaison for the university’s student-run newscast, DITV.
 After graduating, Abigail spent two years as a multimedia journalist in Cedar Rapids covering stories across eastern Iowa and beyond.
