Early outs: Iowa schools closing early due to excessive heat
Some Iowa schools are dismissing students early Wednesday due to the heat wave that's pushing temperatures near 100 degrees and heat indices well above that mark.
Johnston officials announced Wednesday morning that they'd close early. Around the state, East Marshall, Fort Dodge, and Interstate 35 have early outs Wednesday, among others.
