Intense video shows Florida deputies chase man driving wrong way in stolen box truck
Florida deputies said an intense pursuit, caught on dash cam video Tuesday morning, led to the arrest of a man accused of stealing a box truck from Tampa.
The sheriff’s office released the dash cam footage of the chase in which the alleged truck thief can be seen driving in the wrong direction down busy streets.

Deputies believe Brandon J. Baker, 33, was armed when he stole the truck and headed north in the southbound lanes of a Florida interstate.
Baker then got off the interstate and the chase moved through parts of Butler Plaza and several other busy streets.
After deputies performed a PIT maneuver — a type of police pursuit tactic — you can see the suspect bail out of the truck while it's still running.
He's then hit by a deputy's car, launching him almost directly into the arms of a waiting deputy.
Later in the video, you can hear the man say, while in handcuffs, “I ain’t even mad at y’all, cause ya’ll did your jobs."
Miraculously, no one was seriously hurt in the pursuit, according to the sheriff's office.
Baker is in Alachua County Jail, charged with several felonies.
